Condition Reports

Date08.01.2004

Surface: very dirty

Varnish: very discoloured, dull

Paint layers: oil (?), possibly mixed media; adhesion to the support/ground sufficient except at the top right and left where there is blistering and flaking, at the left there are already losses

Support: the size has been altered; the original wooden support (exact measurements cannot be established) has been attached to a second panel (consisting of two planks); dark coating on the reverse, could be a glue-laminated drawing board (original?)
