  • Underdrawing
  • Results
    Drawing material:
    - probably a dry material

    Technique:
    - in general the lines of the underdrawing are superimposed by the contours of the painted version, minor deviations are visible on the bridge of the nose and the left side of the forehead; clear dotted lines are visible in the hand (executed with a dry material, possibly pounced) [1]
    - there are dots (possibly stemming from the method employed to transfer the design to the panel), along the right outer contour of the face, indicating facial features such as lips, left nostril and the fold above the left corner of the mouth as well as in the area of the curl of hair.
