Research History / Discussion

Until the Second World War there was a further portrait of Melanchthon (copy ?) on loan from Mr. Dziewulski of Warsaw in the Nationalmuseum. This did not bear an inscription but Philipp Melanchthon's emblem had been added in the top right corner.
