The naked and defenceless Sinner is driven by Death and the Devil towards the hellfire and perdition. He is accused of breaking one of the ten commandments, which are represented by panels held by Moses who stands amongst a group of prophets. The source of the evil is the original sin commited by the first man and woman: Adam and Eve with the serpent under the tree of knowledge. Against the will of God they eat the fruit. The judge of the world sits on the globe and angels sound horns to announce the Last Judgement. The branches of a tree remain bare. Along the bottom edge is a biblical text.
