The Virgin as a seated half-length figure against a black background. She supports the standing figure of the infant Christ with her right hand, and offers him grapes from her left hand. The Child puts a grape in his mouth. A veil covers the Virgin's head, but does not hide

The Virgin as a seated half-length figure against a black background. She supports the standing figure of the infant Christ with her right hand, and offers him grapes from her left hand. The Child puts a grape in his mouth. A veil covers the Virgin's head, but does not hide her long blond hair. The veil covers her chest over her red robe, over which she wears a blue and green cloak.
