Research History / Discussion

Two further versions are known: a superior version (according to D. Koepplin [Letter from D. Koepplin to Herr Bartoschek, SPSG, 20.04.2007, Koepplin Archive]) in the Muzeul National Brukenthal [RO_MNB_217] and a now lost version attributed to an anoymous netherlandish artist and formerly in the Neues Palais, Potsdam (now the SPSG collection), inv. no. GK I 2036 [see SPSG 2004, 341, 342].
