areas of shrinkage and surface cracking
under UV light fine spots of retouching visible on the sitter’s face; several lines of retouching on the vertical cracks in the lower left corner and in the background
minor losses and abrasion along the edges

Coatings:

discoloured varnish visible under new varnish
