The panel depicts the adoration of the Magi. The Virgin is shown at the centre of the image with her arms crossed over her chest, looking lovingly at the child resting on a cloth in her lap. Standing on the right the king depicted as a moor engages the viewer,

The panel depicts the adoration of the Magi. The Virgin is shown at the centre of the image with her arms crossed over her chest, looking lovingly at the child resting on a cloth in her lap. Standing on the right the king depicted as a moor engages the viewer, whereas the other two bearded kings contemplate the child. Behind them an arch separates the group from the landscape beyond where a town is visible on a hill. A tree is positioned directly behind the Virgin.
