  • State property, from the Cabinet of Art and Antiquity in the Royal University[1]
  • previously in the former Schlesische Museum der Bildenden Künste in Breslau, predecessor to the present-day Muzeum Narodowe we Wroclawiu
  • in November 1945 evacuated from the Schlesische Museum der Bildenden Künste and taken to a storage facility in Kamenz, Poland
  • end of February 1946, many works went missing including this painting
  • eventually it ended up in Mariefred, where it belonged to Häggberg, a manager at the telecommunications company L M Ericsson
  • 1970 purchased by the Nationamuseum [2]
  • the Nationalmuseum returned the painting to Poland [3]
