The crowns and haloes of the two saints are described in the gold ground. The same applies to Sts Apolonia and Christine in the lower field. however, whereas Apolonia faces left towards her counterpart St Christine is turned towards the viewer. All the saints hold the symbols of their martyrdom.
Verso: St Sigismund is depicted as a full-length figure on stony ground, facing left against a neutral dark background. He wears a mantle and a crown and holds a sceptre and an orb, the royal insignia.
