God the Father presides in a Gloriole framed by a band of cloud with angels' heads. He presents Christ's slumped corpse to the viewer with outstretched arms. The Holy ghost has alighted as a dove on his left thigh. The angels in the band of cloud carry the weapons of Christ. Sts Bartholomew (on the left with a book and a knife) and Sebastian (on the right with two arrows) pray to the Holy Ghost. An expansive landscape is visible between the two saints.
