The wing panels illustrate a continuous scene depicting the martyrdom of the seven sons of Felicia. Two of her sons lie on the ground in the foreground with their hands bound. A henchman stands over them ready to strike a blow. A further two brothers have been tied to a tree trunk and are being flogged. The fifth brother is about to be thrown off a cliff face.

  • stolen during the french-westfalian usurpation and later returned without the martyrdom scenes
  • the wing panels were acquired ifrom B. Hausmann in 1816 by the Landesgalerie with the assistance of the engraver and miniaturist J. C. F. Giere from Hannover
