The right wing depicts a somewhat puzzling Sermon to the Pagans populated by many foreign people crowding around a renaissance-style pulpit. The depiction could refer to Peter's sermon in the apocryphon. The ramshackled church building might be a reference to the historical state of the Christian Church; it is conceivable that an anti-clerical reflection is present in the particularly starkly contrasted grand depiction of the supporting columns. In any case this overt contrast and the threatening weapons of the figure with his back to the viewer must be included in a consistent interpretation.
