A full-length portrait of Agnes of Barby (1540-1569) standing in front of an architectural arch. She is wearing a full-length dark brown dress with a rich embroidered hem. She has numerous gold chains around her neck and her hair is gathered together beneath a hairnet. She wears a gold embroidered bonnet on her head. Agnes of Barby was the first wife of Prince Joachim Ernst of Anhalt (1536-1586).
