This representation of Diana und Actaeon shows Diana naked except for an elaborate necklace accompanied by five of her nymphs, wearing slightly more discrete chokers. They are bathing in a river, while on the left Actaeon has been partially transformed into a stag, retaining his human form only from the waist down. Two of his hunting dogs rush towards him snarling. A stag hunt can be seen in a clearing in the background.
