Description:
This fragment of the so-called Prague altarpiece depicts St Margaret as a young girl in a sumptuous robe. Her long curly hair is held back with a band. The saint holds a sheet of text in her hands. This segment of the overall painting also shows a band of clouds with Cherubs next to the saint's breasts as well as remnants of gilding on the left side. [Görres, cda 2016]
