Provenance

- according to the record in the parish book in 1749-1776 the painting was brought by an unknown soldier during the Thirty Year War from Italy to the nearby Kobzan Mill and the temporary owners donated it to the church of All Saints in Polen in southwest Bohemia
- 1967 stolen
- after its retrieval in 1969 the painting was lent to the National Gallery in Prague
