[In this version] an ugly, gap-toothed old man extends his left hand from the right around the girl's neck, placing it under her left armpit with an amorous smile; his right hand is stretched out towards her and with an upward gesture he appears to give expression to his love; the girl is dismissive or indifferent, staring instead beyond him with her hands folded in her lap. Here the old man wears a fur gown and hat, his dark green doublet exhibits a red slit at the front, the girl wears a red dress with puffed sleeves, a green bodice and a bonnet decorated with gold embroidery.
