Description:
A full-length portrait of Heinrich the Devout, Duke of Saxony (1473 - 1541) set against a dark background; he is wearing an elaborate robe with multiple decorative slits and a matching coat. On his head he wears a red and white hat and two massive chains hang around his neck; he is about to pull his sword from its sheath with both hands; theses are decorated with numerous rings; a hunting dog stands behind him.
