The life-size figure of Venus wears only a transparent veil. Her long curls fall down over her shoulders and her feet are positioned one in front of the other so that she appears to take a step towards the viewer, who she looks at directly. She points to her left

The life-size figure of Venus wears only a transparent veil. Her long curls fall down over her shoulders and her feet are positioned one in front of the other so that she appears to take a step towards the viewer, who she looks at directly. She points to her left at Cupid with slightly splayed out fingers. He is depicted as a naked, winged child with a bow and arrow.
